Camping L'océan

Superb discovery of this campsite on a human scale. All the staff are really top notch. Entertainment is offered for all ages and tastes with a dynamic and smiling team. The snack bar, open for lunch and dinner, delighted us with good pizzas and especially salted butter caramel waffles (with whipped cream is even better 😋). To quench our thirst, we tried some very good cocktails with or without alcohol at the bar. My son loved the water slides. For my part, I preferred the outdoor swimming pool but also the heated indoor swimming pool with the massage jet and jacuzzi areas. Many deckchairs are available. We had an excellent week with you and we will not fail to return during our next vacation in Vendée. Thank you again for your welcome 😉

A superb week of vacation spent at your campsite! Entertainment, atmosphere, welcome... Everything was there! The mobile home was modern, clean and functional, the entertainers were excellent, the two swimming pools were large and well maintained. 4-star campsite but family-friendly and not a money factory like we have experienced in some of them. We will come back!

Overall good campsite with a welcoming team upon our arrival. The campsite is well located in Saint Jean de Monts, about 15 minutes from the city center by bike. The campsite also benefits from a lot of activities for young and old alike, which is appreciated. Security by night guards is also a real plus. The toilets are generally clean. However, the bare campsites are in full sun without the slightest shade, which is very damaging in the case of strong summer sun. In addition, the terrain is quite sandy, which creates a lot of dust in the tents. A little greenery wouldn't have hurt. Finally, and it's a shame to end on this, but we were 4 young people and we were not subject to the same rules as the other people at the pool... in fact swimming shorts were prohibited, which we obviously understand , but due to not being able to buy a swimsuit, we had second thoughts each time we came to the pool in swim shorts (even going so far as to exclude ourselves from the pool) while other people, in the same case than us, they were free to wear what they wanted... We agree with the rules put in place but in these cases they must be applied for everyone.
